Geevor Tin Mine
Geevor was the last mine to close in the St Just Mining District when it ceased operations in 1990. Geevor is now a visitor destination and museum where you can explore Cornwall’s rich mining heritage.
It also has an 18th century underground mine. While it is possible to access the coast path and the colourful but barren landscape left by mining activity, the path through Geevor is very steep. Walking from Levant Mine is a more level option, although it is still rough and uneven with some steep gradients.
