St Agnes Head

St Agnes Head offers an accessible opportunity to experience the area’s clifftop landscape and fantastic views. While the visible evidence of mining is harder to spot at this National Trust site, the wild moorland environment with its rugged ground and covering of heather captures the wild, rural-industrial character of the St Agnes Mining District.

From the main car park a network of different paths reaches towards the headland and along the coast in both directions. The level tarmac road (shared with cars) turns into tracks that become narrower, steeper and more uneven the further they get from the car park.
