St Agnes (village)
St Agnes is a village that was shaped by Cornish mining with its busy high street with shops, pubs and cafes. St Agnes is also a good, accessible starting point for a visit to the St Agnes Mining District.
From the village car park you can explore the village's mining past by visiting the St Agnes Museum or the Miners and Mechanics' Institute or simply by walking along its streets among its cottages, houses and public buildings.
Wheelchair ramps are available at the St Agnes Museum on the ground floor, which is fully accessible to wheelchair users and includes a virtual tour of the first floor on a computer in the study corner.
The Miners and Mechanics' Institute also has a wheelchair ramp and there is a lift from the ground floor to provide access for wheelchair users and pushchairs.
