*New* Tavistock Heritage Trails

Visit Tavistock and local historian Andrew Thompson have produced 3 heritage trails which guide you through the town’s vibrant heritage. They include Tavistock and the Dukes of Bedford, and the Tavistock Canal, both with strong links to the mining heritage of the town.

The introductory leaflet with be available from the Tavistock Visitor Information Centre, Tavistock Museum and other local venues and accommodation providers. You can follow the links that connect you to the Visit Tavistock website where you can find resources supporting each of the trails including downloadable guides for the walks, audio trails and a digital map.

All trails are designed to be as accessible as possible within the limitations of the historic town centre.

You can discover the trails directly at www.visit-Tavistock.co.uk/heritage-trails.
